This Policy explains when and why we collect personal information about people who visit our website or web application, how we use it, the conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

Collection Of Personal Data
Personal Data You Provide to Us Voluntarily – We collect information about you that you voluntarily provide to us when you: (i) contact us to learn more about nēdl, Subscribe to a mailing list or other opportunities you indicate are of interest at the time; (ii) access or use nēdl's Services; or (iii) contact customer service. This information may include, for example, your name, business name, and any other information that you choose to provide to us when you comment on materials, in order to contact you as a potential customer, or respond to a support request. This also includes technical data, such as IP addresses and device identifiers that are commonly generated in establishing a connection. Payment information collected is processed securely by our Payment processor and is not stored in nēdl's databases. This is bound by our processor's privacy policy and will not be passed on to third parties under any circumstances.
By using the nēdl we may store information about what pages have been visited and when. This is to help us improve the usability of our services.We remove all personal information and anonymize data from transcriptions.
We collect and retain Personal Data submitted to nēdl in an identifiable format for the amount of time necessary to meet your request or fulfill our legal or regulatory obligations, unless it is in our legitimate business interests and not prohibited by law to maintain the Personal Data for longer periods.
We Do Not Sell Personal Information
Under no circumstances will we directly disclose or sell your personal information to any third party without your prior permission. We are strongly against any form of internet 'spam' and keep all collected information strictly confidential in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).We will not sell or provide your information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Third Party Services Working on Our Behalf
We may pass your information to our third party service providers, or other associated organizations for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (for example processing payments and providing sales/technical support). However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes.
Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties beyond the nēdl network for them to use for their own direct marketing purposes, unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.
When you are using our secure online payment system, your payment is processed by a third party processor, who specializes in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card and PayPal transactions. If you have any questions regarding secure transactions, please contact us.
nēdl's infrastructure is managed by multiple service providers (For example, Google, Amazon Web Services). However they do not have access to any personal information and are prohibited from selling or passing on any stored data.
Data SecurityWe take data security very seriously. Our databases are backed up regularly, and any data collected from you is sent over an encrypted SSL secure connection. Security of our data is important to us and we take every possible reasonable measure to prevent against loss, damage, theft or misuse where possible.
Any data processed by one of the third parties working on our behalf is also sent over an encrypted SSL connection. Third parties are contracted to provide a high level of security on their systems.
Personal Info and Advertisements
We use your phone number to secure and authenticate your account (for example, two-factor authentication), to deliver radio stations and broadcasts near your area code and to easily subscribe you via SMS to Voices you opt in to follow for On-air reminders.
We never share your number or PII with advertisers and if your area code no longer reflects your location you can always update your location in settings to improve the “Stations Near Me” section of Explore. Just grant us permission to use your device location.
Account Deletion
When you choose the option "Deactivate Account" you are choosing to delete the entire account record, along with associated personal data. Unfortunately, we do not store any of your favorites or activity if you choose this option and there is no way to recover it after you confirm your choice.
AdvertisersAdvertising revenue allows us to support and improve our services. We use the information described in this Privacy Policy to help make our advertising more relevant to you, to measure its effectiveness, and to help recognize your devices to serve you ads on and off of nēdl. Our ad partners and affiliates share information with us such as browser cookie IDs, mobile device IDs, hashed email addresses, demographic or interest data, and content viewed or actions taken on a website or app. Some of our ad partners, particularly our advertisers, also enable us to collect similar information directly from their website or app by integrating our advertising technology. Information shared by ad partners and affiliates or collected by nēdl from the websites and apps of ad partners and affiliates may be combined with the other information you share with nēdl and that nēdl receives about you described elsewhere in our Privacy Policy. nēdl adheres to the Digital Advertising Alliance Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising (also referred to as “interest-based advertising”) and respects the DAA’s consumer choice tool for you to opt out of interest-based advertising at https://optout.aboutads.info. In addition, our ads policies prohibit advertisers from targeting ads based on categories that we consider sensitive or are prohibited by law, such as race, religion, politics, sex life, or health. If you are an advertiser or a prospective advertiser, we process your personal data to help offer and provide our advertising services. You can update your data in your nēdl Ads dashboard or by contacting us directly as described in this Privacy Policy.
Device Permissions
nēdl applications will always request permission before accessing your microphone or other hardware on your device. We do not access your microphone without your knowledge or explicit permission.
Children and Our ServicesOur services are not directed to children, and you may not use our services if you are under the age of 13. You must also be old enough to consent to the processing of your personal data in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).
Your Privacy RightsIf at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted.
Please be aware, in order to remove any of your data this may prevent us from providing services to you and could result in the closure of your account.
